Training

Training is one of AUSJET's and ADCVA's main objectives where we ensure our members are able to access training. In line with our core services to promote and facilitate the standardisation of safe work practices in the industry, the association developed a suite of nationally accredited training courses.

Workplace safety training is a process that aims to provide your workforce with knowledge and skills to perform their work in a way that is safe for them and their co-workers. In addition, an effective workplace safety plan includes instructions and guidelines to identify hazards, report them, and deal with incidents.

AS 4233 High Pressure Water Jetting Systems Part 1 Safe Operation and Maintenance stipulates that training is mandatory for any persons operating Class B High Pressure Water Jetting Systems, which are systems above 5600 bar litres. Under the standard there is also an obligation for employers to provide training and instruction on the use of Class A High Pressure Water Jetting Pump.
