AUSJET/ADCVA member Vacvator are just one of many exhibitors who’ll be presenting their business capabilities at AUSJET22 our dedicated water jet, drain and vacuuming technology exhibition and conference, held at the Melbourne Showgrounds in March 2022.
Vacvator is a privately owned Australian manufacturer of hydro-vacuum excavation trucks, dry vacuum, and jetting equipment.
“Vacvator first started in 2006 to build vacuum excavation equipment to support a larger parent company who were involved in horizontal directional drilling and other utility based businesses,” Vacvator General Manager – Operations and Marketing Con Alvanos (pictured) said.
“A number of years later Andrew Rowlands became sole director of Vacvator, he and longer term General Manager Denis Walker saw the need to specialise in hydro excavation units and started focusing on building vacuum trucks for the greater utility market. In more recent years the business has diversified its product range from Non-Destructive Digging market to Jetting and Dry Vacuum to cover all ground conditions and the needs of the utility and mining sector.”
Con said the business has plans to expand their services after extensive market research.
“The business has always strategized and built units that were in demand. We have noticed over the last two years that there has been a need for combination units and now offer Non-Destructive Digging, Jetting and Dry Vac all in one unit or a combination of NDD/Jetter or NDD/Dry Vac to meet the demands of our customers. We’ve spent a lot of time and effort designing and building easy to use, low maintenance machines and have a very sound business plan to expand the business over the next 5 years.”
Vacvator will be one of several exhibitors at AUSJET22 on March 30/31, 2021. Con said becoming members of AUSJET/ADCVA and attending as an exhibitor at AUSJET22 perfectly fitted into their business plan.
“We are very interested in AUSJET22 and talking to potential clients as well as those who work in our industry,” he said.
“We want to talk to other manufacturers and see what they’re doing as well as talk to our clients but most importantly, exhibit our services and capabilities and demonstrate what Vacvator can do.”
