What is HPW?

High Pressure Water blasting, or Hydroblasting is used in a variety of industrial maintenance applications such as:

• Heat exchanger bundle cleaning
• Cleaning of tanks and process vessels
• Internal and external pipeline cleaning
• Removing coatings and linings
• Preparing concrete and metal surfaces for coating application
• Cutting concrete and metal

It utilises specialist equipment which raises the water pressure up to 30,000 psi and beyond for the particular application.
Highly skilled operators and specific safety equipment and work practices are required when working at these pressures.
Being a water only, ie non chemical process of cleaning, high pressure water jetting is the environmentally preferred method.
